Indian Creek
The fall season in Indian Creek, out by Moab Utah, is usually amazing. The sandstone splitters are some of the best crack climbing in the US. Check out Renan Ozturk's video of Matty Segal making the first ascent of Like A Prayer 5.13- at Battle of the Bulge.

Trad Climbing Video
The game of climbing traditional routes can be pretty exciting. Often the gear can be difficult to finagle into the crack, and the climbing can be hard. But the lines are amazing!
In April of 2008, Matt Segal made the second free ascent of an extension to China Doll in Boulder Canyon, Colorado, on April 23, 2008. The extension adds a 30-foot, traditionally protected, thin crack (5.13d R for the extension, 5.14a for the 130-foot extended route) to the original China Doll (5.13c, 100'), bolted and first climbed by Bob Horan in the mid-1990s, in a single pitch. Mike Patz made the first free ascent on July 5, 2007.

First Free Ascent in the Bugaboos
Recently, Will Stanhope, Jason Kruk, and Matt Segal headed to the Bugaboo Mountain Range in Canada where they pulled off a couple of inspiring first free ascents. On the Central Howser Tower, the men pulled off a 5.12+ variation to the existing aid route Chocolate Fudge Brownie (VI 5.9 A2). They then headed to Snowpatch Spire where they made an ascent of Sendero Norte, a 5.12+ route up the east face.
Dougald McDonald wrote an excellent report on the men's ascent at Climbing.Com and Jason Kruk detailed his account of the trip at his blog.
