Free Slackline Clinic
Free Slackline Clinic January 23rd at Sacramento PipeworksHave you seen people walking the tightrope in the gym? It's called "slacklining" - a great balance sport utilizing tubular nylon webbing stretched tight between two anchor points. The origins of modern day slacklining are generally attributed to rock climbers living in Yosemite Valley in the early 1980s, but it is a good way to work on your balance and core strength even if you’re not a climber. We'll offer a free 1-hour introductory clinic to slacklining on Jan. 23rd at 6:30pm. Instructed by Pipeworks route setter and expert slacker Peter Dixon.
